I feel imo it appears pointless to try to wish for something good to happen until the pre-season. This is the time of year I hate. I feel like I would be posting in circles because no matter what, happens before pre-season we are not going to change anyone's minds about us next year.

Who wants to miss the summer. Y hibernating. 16 ir so weeks and the preseason starts its not that long. And as long as you kike other sports there is plenty on. Soccer has the European Championships and Copa America,you habe the Rio Olympics and by the time they are done we get the first glimpses of training camp and what UDFA etc could make the team

Yeah, but we're Americans, and most of us don't pay attention to soccer until the World Cup. Even then, it's not near the top of my list.

The worst thing for people here who like soccer, is that most of the games are going on at the worst possible times.

I like baseball, which would usually keep me going a little. But I'm a Braves fan, and they are rebuilding right now. They're absolutely dreadful.

NFL games are 6pm/9pm/1am for us. UFC for me is 1am or there abouts

I have no doubt that the times are bad for you guys over there.

Soccer games tend to come on somewhere between 4AM and 6AM where I am. I don't know too many people who like anything enough to either stay up that late or get up that early. You would have to DVR it, if you have that.

The last time I tried to DVR a Saints game while I was at work, I couldn't get a certain loudmouth to shut up about the game. I can't watch anything when I already know the outcome. I haven't even watched a replay of the Saints Super Bowl. I just don't get anything out of it. Fortunately I got to watch that one live, lol.

Yeah I hate this time of year. I used to like a couple of other sports, but over the years my interest in anything other than football has pretty much disappeared. I spend the offseason scouring the web for any kind of remotely interesting football stories. Right around this time is when all the stupid fluff pieces start coming out because there's nothing else going on. August can't come fast enough.
