Ronald McKinnon
Pierce was the single most pursued player for the Saints at the onset of free agency, but signed a big deal with the New York Giants. The Saints are also looking at New Orleans native LB Ronald McKinnon (Arizona)
Guess what? #5 on the MLB list! Ronald McKinnon UFA Cardinals – After taking over the starting job inside for starter Eric Hill in 1998, McKinnon has been a mainstay and one of their best players. McKinnon is known as a good run stopper but his skills are clearly declining and he’s just average in pass coverage. He still should get some interest in free agency but he likely only got a few years left as a starter. Defensively, Arizona could use a new middle linebacker. Starter Ronald McKinnon took a step backwards this season. The nine-year veteran totaled just 74 tackles, breaking his five-year streak of recording at least 100 tackles. |
