Ronald McKinnon UFA Cardinals ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â€Âœ After taking over the starting job inside for starter Eric Hill in 1998, McKinnon has been a mainstay and one of their best players. McKinnon is known as a good run stopper but his skills are clearly declining and heÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â„Â¢s just average in pass coverage. He still should get some interest in free agency but he likely only got a few years left as a starter.
Defensively, Arizona could use a new middle linebacker. Starter Ronald McKinnon took a step backwards this season. The nine-year veteran totaled just 74 tackles, breaking his five-year streak of recording at least 100 tackles.
