I would cut Luke. The guy is 92 years old and carries a higher price tag than Neal, Grayson and Mett would combined. If Drew goes down McCown gives us 6 wins at the most. All that does is push us out of the top 10 in the draft.

I would bring him to camp right away. The only LSU QB I have really liked for the last 10 years.

McGowin is light years beyond Mettenburger and they arent going to give up on Grayson after one year. I think they are happy with what they have. Im sure if hes really that much of an improvement they will consider it. I just dont see Mettenburger as much more than a journeyman. He is definitely not the guy to take Drews place. He wasnt even all that good considering who he had to throw to. He had a lot of help. Just because he did better than a lot of crappy QBs who have been through LSU doesnt mean hes going to be any good in the pros.

These people would be 100% content with a 2-14 season as long as 75% of the roster was LSU players.

LSU hasn't been relative in college football for several years now anyway. Nobody is scared of them anymore except maybe Vanderbilt.
