Zach Mettenberger

Just released by the Titans. I would love to see him in B&G. Any thoughts? Can't be any worse than what we have now. Learn behind Drew for 3 yrs could be huge for this kid.

Yeah at least as good as what we have with a higher ceiling

Sigh. Was just reading how Drew was tearing up the league last year -big time- and still our D let our opponents gain even more yards than Drew did. If a guy's not on the tackling side of things, let's not waste our efforts.

Nobody is saying throw Drew out the door. Bring him in and see if he has the long term potential. Hell if he shines under Paytons offense you can trade him for a pick or loose him in FA for a comp pick

There might only be 2 qb's in the league today (Brady, Brees) that could of been consistant on the Titans over the past 2 years. Even if he is no better than Luke, he is much younger and cheaper. Plus, with the right leadership I believe he could thrive.

I'm not talking Tennessee. I'm talking LSU. That's the team I follow in college. Couldn't stand Zach. One of the many QB's from LSU I'm not high on. He's Matt Flynn 2.0. He should have put up stellar numbers with OBJ and Landry.

3100 yards and 22 tds is huge numbers on a team that ran the ball 65% of the the time in 2013. If he had the 2011 defense we would of considered that LSU team one of the best ever.

Sorry but if he was QB on a Les Miles team he's got no shot ... Period ... The guy was cut for a reason not even backup material. Not a Bama Fan either, LA TECH Bulldog, but flame away if you must ... Take off them Purple and Gold glasses.

Drew Brees, 7 - Luke McCown, 18 - Garrett Grayson, 4 - Griffin Neal

Who do they cut? Neal? Grayson? I can't see Zach landing in New Orleans. Plus Sean HATES LSU players (sarcasm)
