"It's been great to be able to be a pro -- now you got to act like it and carry yourself like one," he said Saturday. "(I'm) seeing a lot of vets around here and just learning from them, picking their brain and starting your own routine. I had a routine at Ohio State and now it's different."

Thomas added that Drew Brees has done so much for the Saints organization that he just wants to give back to his new quarterback.

"He's given back so much to this organization and this program, with a pro like that who's up there in his career, I just want to give back to him and add value and help him get to that Super Bowl," the 6-foot-3, 212-pounder said.

I love his attitude and to see a high pick like him at a position that is usually a me me me position, humble WRs with that much talent is golden.

I think he is a perfect compliment to Cooks. He looks deceptively quick on film and is the ideal replacement for Colston.(God love him)

There were some pretty good comments below the article but I swear people want to ***** because we spent one draft pick on a receiver and therefore feel like we screwed up the whole draft. For cryin' out loud our offense was sputtering and we needed a possession receiver to make Payton's system work.

He is a solid number two receiver who should impact the team at least as well as Devery Henderson(another second rounder). They have a different skill set......Devery was fast and could take the top off for Colston. We still need that speedster though.

Well obviously thats the goal. Did anyone actually expect him to say anything else? Only a loser would aspire to anything less.

Well that should show he wants to improve the offense without it benefitting from turnovers first.
