Go-Karts aren't a good idea for the health of football players. Don't they take enough chances just playing the game?

A highly competitive 300 lb man racing in what is basically an engine and 4 wheels? What could go wrong?

There is a risk in Everything but where do you draw the line?
I had a coach that banned pretty much Everything except for football, I mean beach volleyball, softball, recreational soccer and so on. Lets just say players rebelled...

The go-karts at a go-kart track don't go very fast at all. I'd say probably about 20 mph tops. They weren't in any sort of danger, I'm sure of it.
