Saints, Texans to hold joint practices before preseason game in Houston, newspaper reports
 

The New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans will hold a pair of practices together before their preseason game Aug. 20 in Houston, the Houston Chronicle reported Thursday.

The practices will be in Houston.

The teams planned last year to hold a pair of practices in Metairie, before the Saints canceled those workouts after the Texans were selected for the "Hard Knocks" show on HBO.

It seems to me that we always play better coming out of the gate early after we practice with them. Sometimes practice gets a little testy which is a good thing. I don't know who the new coach is in Houston but I believe Kubiak modeled his team after the Saints. Much like Payton did with New England.

Guys name is Bill O'Brien, and its the same ol Texans....stellar defense. Then they turn around, and take somebody's backup QB and pay him a bajillion dollars. I'd like to see Brees fake turf toe for that week, but the rest of the team go out and duke it out nice and nasty, as these guys always get. And youre right. We do well, when these guys piss us off, and rile us up. In light of recent tragedy, I am witholding my Camp Day Spa comments, and "cucumbers over the eyes, chickenhead towel" pictures that I post regarding greenbriar. But this nasty series is just what we need to jumpstart into '16. I'm going to every one, I can make!!! Pumped Up!
