Again ... sorry. When I posted that Friday afternoon, the frustration and anger had just about reached code red around here. I wasn\'t trying to mislead anyone, just trying to get a grin outta some folks who seemed to need it.

Guess we all agree THAT backfired!

By the way, what do you think about free agency for the rest of the NFL?

Well, to be honest, I needed a laugh, too. Seeing the activity of some of these other teams is making me sick, especially when the ONLY move we\'ve made is to resign Fred McAfee for the league minimum. Nothing against Fred, but...

As for the rest of the NFL, there\'s very little impact across the board, but most teams have made at least ONE good signing, even if it\'s only a resign (such as Cincy with Houshmandzadeh). Teams as a whole who have impressed me are Dallas, Oakland, Carolina, and especially the N.Y. Giants. They signed the best young OT available in K. McKenzie, who should be watching Eli\'s back for years. They also anchored the middle of their defense for the next 6 seasons with MLB Antonio Pierce, who you\'ll recall was one of the most coveted BnG darlings.

Oh, to be a fan of a team who recognizes its needs and then fills them ... must be nice.
