Hear me out ...

A lot of fans don't necessarily see it yet, however OTA's are IMPORTANT. These mini practices help gauge where each player "fit", including newly acquired players (JL, Robertson, Fairley etc, etc). The new guys are just trying to get their feet wet, gel with coaches and more importantly team mates (develop CHEMISTRY).

We can develop a sense of identity in June & trust me, Sean and his entire staff are evaluating players performance and in to the subsequent training camp.

The road to hoisting the Lombardi starts in OTA's.

Forsooth! Whilst yon coach is spouting smoke, perchance to stroll to Ye Olde Gift Shoppe and obtain some Saints colour!

I think coach said that right now we are installing the sixth phase. That's a lot to process. If we are still having these problems in July then we can begin to worry.

Offense always wins for the most part in non contact. I wouldn't read too much into that at this point. I'd be worried if they weren't.

I'm hearing many of our DB's are in good coverage. It should also be pointed out that they can't hit WR's in OTA's.

The good news is that even with tight coverage (flag football style), Thomas, TJ Harris and Snead are making great plays.

So...

DB's look good, considering they can't hit. There coverage is spot on.
WR's looking good fighting for contested balls and being on the same page as Drew. Both are good signs during OTA's. Sounds really good to me.

Obviously we'll know more when they can all knock the snot out of each other when TC starts.:p

I can't wait. Its like being a kid one week before Christmas!!!! :p

Yep Danno. It's pretty much all down hill from here! (The waiting part) Even though it's 90 degrees and I work in 120 degree heat I can almost feel fall in the air!
