I read between the lines on this article...
First, some of our defensive linemen are too slow to read and react (hmm, wonder who it could be?)... Second, there was no way Rankins, at his size, was going to be effective in a two gap system - this makes more sense, plays to his strengths... Third, we're gonna see alot of fronts with Jordan-Rankins-Fairley-Jenkins and only two linebackers... Fourth, our defensive backs are going to be sitting back, making reads and coming up to make plays... |
