I've heard, although just a rumor right now, Kendrell Bell failed his physical with the Giants.

Jason Whitlock, of the Kansas City Star, reports free agent LB Kendrell Bell (groin) failed his physical during a recent visit with the New York Giants. Bell had been hampered by a nagging groin injury for most of last season.

This is kinda good news. I was really afraid of all the talk about Bell - not that I really expected the Saints to sign him, but those injuries really seemed to be piling up.

Oh well, one more LB down the drain...

Well maybe this means he can be had at a lower price, which is even better than before. I would think this would appeal to the \"don\'t take any big chances\" crowd.

I really wanted us to get this guy, but if this is true, I am glad we didn\'t even try ;) At least Hartwell is still out there, but for how long?
