Source: Dannell Ellerbe’s contract is heavy on incentives
1 Attachment(s)
The restructured contract Dannell Ellerbe agreed to earlier this offseason is heavy in incentives, according to a source.
Ellerbe’s core deal is worth $5 million over two seasons, but he can earn much more by staying on the field. Source: Dannell Ellerbe's contract is heavy on incentives - Black and Gold |
Re: Source: Dannell Ellerbe’s contract is heavy on incentives
If all professional sports contracts could be written incentive-based, you know, kinda like the rest of us in the real world have to produce to get paid.
This is the first smart contract by Loomis in some time, maybe Ireland is rubbing off on 'em... |

Re: Source: Dannell Ellerbe’s contract is heavy on incentives
With Ellerbe playing in games last year we were respectable as a D, without him we were real bad. I would love to see a healthy Ellerbe all season.

Really wish for him to cash in and agree with Jean Pierre 100%. This team could have avoided being robbed and got some people who actually wanted to be here instead of the Browner types.

Re: Source: Dannell Ellerbe’s contract is heavy on incentives
Our defense looked totally different when Ellerbe played. He needs to stay healthy so we can put our best players on the field. If not. Well, we've got Craig Robertson who looks to be the real deal so far in mini camps. We'll see when we get to training camp how things develop along the injury front for Ellerbe. I admire his play tremendously and want him to succeed here.
