New Orleans is interested in Dwight Smith

The Bucs' interest in Jermane Mayberry turned out to be nothing more than that after the former Philadelphia offensive lineman agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on Saturday.

New Orleans is also interested in Dwight Smith. The fifth- year free agent visited with the Saints Saturday.

Smith is interested in playing cornerback, the position he played with the Bucs his first couple of seasons in the league. The past two seasons, Smith has started at strong and free safety for the Bucs.
