Saints sideline D.J. Pettway, Avery Young on rookie reporting day

Rookies are receiving a head start as they reported for New Orleans Saints training camp Wednesday. Two of them, though, aren't quite ready for on-field action.

Undrafted defensive end D.J. Pettway opens up camp on the physically unable to perform list, while tackle Avery Young starts on the non-football injury list. Both players still count against the 90-man roster.

I know it's early, and I know I'm being kinda stupid and all...

But "Everyone Healthy" would sure be nice to hear.

Sounds like Avery Young won't be cracking the 53... Practice squad could do him some good.
