Training Camp Day 4

They are really trying hard to sell us on this defense. I hope it's not all media hype. Is Matt Flynn at camp?

Well, so far Can't-Guard-Mike is living up to his self-named moniker; I'm most impressed with his work ethic and discipline in camp thus far...

Look I like Westbank as much as anybody, but he's built like an Ethiopian Long Distance Runner, not an NFL cornerback...

Even if he gets through his latest injuries, he's gonna be good for what? 3 to 4 games? He's just not built for 16 games...

See my earlier comment...what does that do for the chemistry and consistency of the secondary with Lewis week to week?!?

It's the same problem with Byrd, only Byrd doesn't play if he's even got a chigger bite on his lower leg, Westbank will at least try to game out...

so its Byrds decision not to play? Ialways thought the doctors assess the situation and the coaches make that decision if the doctors clear them. I didnt know players had a choice in weather or not they play if they want to keep their job.

Thinks thats a bit unfair
He's 6'1 snd over 200lb not any distance runners at that weight. He's also played in 16 games 4 out the last 5 years

It sure would be nice to have TWO healthy starting corners in camp.
