Road:

Retro flair and all-white. Replace the Fleur-de-lis sleeve logo with timeless 70's striping (as much as the current short sleeves permit with tactful flair). White pants with a classic striping down the side. Instead of the aforementioned Fleur-de-lis at the hips, replace with stylized shield. the numbers have a slight '3d' block design. And a tasteful collar replaces Nike's annoying 'spike collar' or 'toilet seat' collar.

Home:

Sleek black jerseys with TV numbers on the side , replacing the Fleur-de-lis. A thin grey piping accents the shoulders from both sides and run down the side gusset running parallel to a middle gold stripe down the gusset. Added to the shoulders are the stripes heralding the black helmet of preseason yonder. The theme of the subtly added grey stripe continues as it centers the black stripe down the sides on the gold pants. And a gold trim accents the collar which replaces Nike's collar (see above).

Alternative:
No blank black yoga pants on my watch. Hijack the striping from the white pants and slap 'em on and touch it off with the grey stripe from the gold pants. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Helmet:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Always a classy look no matter how many toy with their versions. My only thing is that the Fleur-de-lis needs to be bigger than it is now. I've stretched it here from ear hole to almost the middle stripe.


So Tom, can you use your business acumen to influence Nike to do this? I for one will actually overpay NFL Shop for once.

I like black on black and white jerseys / gold pants.

The white isn't bad. The Black is lame. I keep saying we need uniforms like the Miami Heat "blackout" unis...except with gold outline.

Growing up, I always thought that our helmets were too plain and that the fleur de lis wasn't tough enough. But I appreciate the logo now and I like our uni's now. I wouldn't mind seeing a carbon fiber look to our helmets though

Ill keep saying it. I would like to see the black helmets. I know, I know, it will never happen but they look sweet. Im just thankful we arent fans of a team like the Bucs or Jags that have to be embarassed of our team because they look like a bunch of sissys.
