These guys need to be training year-round, in the heat and humidity where they reside, not in some high altitude luxury resort...

Could go along with having training camp in Junction, Texas with conditioning drills run by Marine or Airborne PT instructors...

You can't play a sport like football and go to a spa afterwords for recovery...

Completely disagree
One of the issues is how fit and muscular the players are. They habe gotten to big and too fast for ligaments to cope

Know Marks says no, but the timing in the running game hasn't had a chance with Armstead just coming back this past week, and the shuffling of the guards...

Of course it hasn't been a challenge, our D is filled with 3rd stringers because our starters can't run without getting injured.

Lee, understand the science which you allude; medicine, physiology and kinesiology have really advanced...

But if you're going to apply the scientific method, we had Saints as big and fast thirty years ago as today's Saints, but Mora's Saints were alot tougher...

Jim Mora may have been an idiot when it came to game planning, game management, putting all the stress on that terrific defense; but his Saints were a tough, mean lot...

Opposing teams were physically whooped after a 3+ hour engagement with the Saints...

And as you suggested, it is the conditioning...
