Saints' Sean Payton sees 'encouraging' things on Patriots game tape
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton was visibly less than pleased after the 34-22 loss to the New England Patriots in the preseason opener. Payton postgame discussed the penalties, turnovers and the rushing differential as reasons for the team's loss and barely acknowledged the positives.
"You look at four turnovers and I would say the rushing numbers, those are the two that if I gave you those then you'd say that makes sense 'I understand how the home team won,'" Payton said after Saturday's practice. Saints' Sean Payton sees 'encouraging' things on Patriots game tape | NOLA.com |

It was hard to glean anything from the terrible home team coverage NFL Network put out Thursday night.

If we could have gotten decent signal from WWL Radio, I'd just listened to Jim Henderson with Deuce McAllister (sounds weird with Hokie Gajan)... |
