I see it differently on Marcus Murphy. I just don't see Payton giving up on him in year two. His game is dynamic, great vision and can change field position on any return. If he's cut, I'll be really surprised.

Paul Kruger just gut cut by the Browns. Didn't we have a bunch of guys on here that liked him?

Yeah, when we were trying to build the 3-4.

payton were really studying the qb play if anyone noticed, i think there will be a move there, just a gut feeling. it looked like he wanted to see if grayson has matured enough to handle it if (can't believe i'm saying this) brees went down. we could get posibly a 3rd round pick if qb situation went nuts like in dallas . what yall think , let me have it.

Well he HAS to try to get someone ready in the event that Brees did go down. But Grayson is well behind McCown at this point. I don't see any movement there, though. I think there is enough confidence in McCown at number 2, and they'll give Grayson another year to sit and learn. If he doesn't show at least some improvement by next year, then they'll probably start looking at other QB's in the draft.

I don't know about drafting one in the first round or anything. But they'd be kicking some tires somewhere.

we need to pay attention to o - line cuts out of houston they have bulk at o-line back-ups that will be cut . they were solid whoever they had out there.
i'm sure they don't need me telling them.

I really don't know. He gives me that Hicks vibe. Flashes occasionally and that's all. Not sure he could be consistent performer on our defense. Coaching decisions (losing weight) didn't help either.
