It's really not hindsight Danno. They don't really draft for what I would call preventive maintainence, under Payton it's more flash than braun. He gets his toys but never depth for replacing aging veterans on the O-line which makes his toys click and has never had a consistant D to take pressure off of the O who has had to score 30+ ppg to be in the game or win. It's actually quite sad. Payton has been lucky as he!! with the O-line up to last season but luck with late round picks and UDFA don't always do so well. The Peat pick is looking more and more like a bad decision, I hope the kid studs out but it's hard to see it on gamedays. Lelito should have been solid by now but looks like he's taken steps back. Kelemente has looked better but is he really a true starting G? Incognito was there for the picking as a FA and is quite good, we passed him up, why? He picked on a kid that cried bloody murder. The 2016 G's from Arkansas was sitting there and so was Alexander from LSU along with several others that could be playing. My other pick in the 2015 draft would have been Garcia though. Paytons luck is running thin with the O-line although his toys are top notch .
