Another reason why we suck we are always keeping these undrafted free agents. This team values the udfa more than draft picks not saying they are bad players at all but there is reasons why the went undrafted.

I have no issue with UDFA making the team. The only stone you can throw at that is the front office are obviously not getting the mid to late round draft picks right. But for me its take the player that performs.

I don't really care that they keep a udfa it's fine but we seem to care more about them than finding a draft pick. If they can play fine no problem. How many as on the roster do we have now 1/3 1/2 idk but it's alot. Maybe a collation to us being as bad as we are.

I was just going to say I don't mind it either, especially when they can play. It is never ad bad thing, but I would say that we didn't look too good in preseason or the last two years. Our line looks terrible so we should be trying hard to upgrade it. If our oline play improved to decent it could change the entire season.

I was listening to Bill Polian, the Pro Football Hall of Fame GM, a couple of days ago, and he was talking about fans over-expectations of draft picks. He was saying that if you can get four draft choices in a draft that can eventually become starters you were lucky and he also talked about UFDA's saying that there are more players good enough to make teams every year that you can pick up without having to do so in the draft. He added that anything picked past the 4th round was a bonus if they were able to make the squad.

I think Lewis did just enough to make the team, with that said he needs to concentrate on catching the ball better with his hands and extending his arms, he kind of short arms it. Grayson thew very catchable balls to him in the Ravens game. I really like Harris reminds me of a poor mans Mike McKenzey. Jurys out on Turner so far. Crawley made plays and didn't make plays, he has good hands I give him that but needs to improve alot on angles and wrapping up when he tackles, he kind of scares the he!! out of me because I see big plays being made on him. And speaking of Grayson I don't think he played to bad at all during preseason our WR dropped alot of balls he threw and our O-line and run game didn't help a developing QB at all. I like this kid.

The UDFA would have been "Draft Choice" if the draft went 17 rounds like it did at one time.

I'm glad that Turner has made the team(at least for now). Hopefully, we cut bait with both Kelemete and Lelito if any new Olinemen are signed off the waiver wire.

Reports they are sitting down with Brees in the extension too.
4 years 100ml is what Brees is after. The guaranteed money is kep there. Anymore than 50-60ml is too much imo. That covers 2 probably 3 years for him if they back load it.
