He was the punter and kicker in college. Avg just over 42 yards on punts. Wonder if they fancy him taking both roles long term.
Hopefully he is a good long term option. It would be nice to have that question mark sorted |

Finnegan will be back after week 1 I'll bet.
If he plays week 1, his entire contract is guaranteed. If we wait until week 2, his contract is week to week. |

I'll bet the Saints think Finnegan is the least likely player to be picked up, especially since his contract would be guaranteed by whomever picks him up.
He'll be back week 2 (I hope). |
