I'm saying this to be friendly - it's not worth it.
Football isn't worth putting anything in life on hold. You may need a break. Be sure to take time off, even if it's just tuning it out during the offseason.

Years ago, I had to stop investing myself emotionally into my teams and found other things to do. Suddenly my personal and professional life improved.

I look at football as a journey rather than a sprint. Try to enjoy the game but don't put it in front of life - this is how you will get perspective. Football will always be there when you return - your "life" on the other hand may not be so go live it, even if you have to do it without football.

Laurinitus should not be starting, Stephone Anthony is much, much better than him.
I disagree. The Raiders are an extremely good team that most pundits and publications picked to win the AFC West this season with a deep playoff run. They have talent at several positions on offense and most positions on defense. We stood up well but didn't get the job done. They were a great team today to find a way to win and go for two and win the game.

I Agee Oakland is pretty good team to overcome 145 in penalties and double digest deficit to win

I also think Oakland is a good team. I also agree with they found a way to win. They beat our D.

No adjustments by the DC. It didn't take but 1/2 a game for Oakland to figure him out. It's not the players. Jim Scwarts( I'll use him because he's a 4-3 guy just one of many out there) would be able to take the same players we have and create a decent D. Allen changes Anthony from a MLB to an OLB because he don't think Anthony is the answer in the middle and brings in a slower aging veteran stunting any type of hope or impact Anthony could have. I didn't like the Anthony pick but he has grown some on me but to do what Allen done hurt him. Allen is a very unproven DC and for Payton to bring him in the first place wasn't the smartest move to begin with. He don't have anywhere the coaching ability as a Gregg Williams, he's the low man on the totum pole as far as DC's go.

I thought the game was a lot better than most people thought it was going to be.

The defence is young, they will learn.

Credit to Lutz for handling a lot of pressure on young shoulders and he nearly won us the game. That was a great effort from 61 yards out.

It seemed strange following the game on Game Pass and listening to the Saints Radio station without Hokie being on there. He would have had plenty to say about todays game, God bless him.

Anyway, we still have 15 more games to play, so think positive. The season isn't over just because we are 0-1. Also, the Panthers and the Falcons lost today.

Well, that is a good point. Im beating up on Lutz, but SP probably should have punted instead of giving field possition when he knew are D was struggling.

I think JP touched on it earlier but what the hell was JOHN JENKINS doing on that long running TD up the gut? He was tossed around like a rag doll.

No way this guy should be re signed. He's not a very good player.
