Dallas CowboysEdit
Webb was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.[3] Coming from a small college background, he looked overmatched in the appearances he made as a slot cornerback. He was eventually benched in favor of Sterling Moore, who was re-signed on November 25 after being released before the start of the season. He was inactive for the final game.
In the next year training camp, he was passed over by undrafted free agent Tyler Patmon and was waived on August 28, 2014.[4]
Pittsburgh SteelersEdit
Webb was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 29, 2014.[5] He was activated for 11 games and played mainly on special teams. He was released on September 5, 2015.
Tennessee TitansEdit
On September 9, 2015, he was signed to the Tennessee Titans practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on November 8th, 2015 for a game against the New Orleans Saints in which he recorded his first career interception. On September 2, 2016, he was released by the Titans as part of final roster cuts.[6]
Looks more like he's progressing through his career to me. Let's have some optimism here. They only lost by 1 point against a very hungry and loaded raiders team. The Raiders are considered to be the team to beat in the west aside from the Patriots. Even patriots fans have taken note. The Raiders came to play this season. With that said, optimism is the word of this season. Let's hope the next man up mentality that won the Seahawks the superbowl has rubbed off on the Saints this year. Let's see what you got C.W.Webb. You've got some big shoes to fill. WHO DAT! That's C.W.Webb! Now taking applications for the next intercepted Quarterback. 😆
