Saints sign cornerback B.W. Webb to help offset the temporary loss of starter Delvin Breaux after he suffered a broken fibula in Week 1.

I think most assumed we'd bring back Finnegan, but ok... Welcome to the team Webb!

Who the hell is this ****ing guy.

This is why I can't understand how we can go into the season with one starting CB. We knew nothing of the other guys because nobody had even played a down in a real game. No depth. Breaux doesn't go down and we win hands down.
I do think the other guys did a pretty decent job considering they had absolutely no pressure up front. I hope that changes but I'm not holding my breath.

Who exactly did you expect to be available 1 week into the 2016 season at cornerback?

Trade Ingram and/or draft picks to another team to get someone legit.

Actually, I don't think it is very silly at all.

This team is in need of an overhaul. The overhaul is coming sooner than later might as well let it begin now. Trade away some of the players and get picks and prepare for the draft and FA now.

The 2016 New Orleans Saints have approximately $37,885,xxx in dead cap space. Would you care to know what 37M could get you in FA? ...

Gerald McCoy ($12.5M), V Burfict ($2.5M)
Oliver Vernon ($29M) & Sams Shields ($8.8M)
Earl Thomas ($8M), Chandler Jones ($8M) & Pouncey ($7M)
or the likes of a Richard Sherman ($12.5M), B Marshall ($12M) & McCoy ($12.5M).
My personal favorite scenario ... V Miller ($25.M), K Chancellor ($5.1M) & V Burfict ($2.5M)

See where I'm going with this? (we have the aforementioned caliber of talent on the books in the form of dead cap space) ...

Meanwhile San Diego is up next.
