New Orleans Saints release Bobby Richardson from practice squad
 

The New Orleans Saints released Bobby Richardson from the practice squad, according to the NFL transactions list posted Tuesday.

Richardson joined the Saints as an undrafted free agent rookie in 2015 and played in 15 games with 11 starts. He logged 583 total defensive snaps, which ranked as the second-most among defensive linemen behind Cam Jordan's 981 snaps. He tallied 40 total tackles with 1/2 sack and one interception.

yeah, we signed some young CB to the PS, had to make room somehow.

Well he got injured last year but has been the starter in 5 of 5 games he has been fit for. Seeing as we had one of the worst defenses we have seen last year and dont look much better at the moment with only only 3 DT ready fr the NFL now and he signed for $1.3ml id say he would have been useful as a rotaional DT. Seeing as we currently have no rotation and Fairley and Davidson could hardly be expected to start loads of snaps and create pressure. Walker got 3.5 sacks and a FF in limited play with the Saints

he'll be back, he has too, we are fighting a fire with sawdust ,flash players that we see the good but we can't see the front office from down the block, we don't know all the stories that are happening in that building.
