I just don't understand it. This topic always has to be prefaced with "Maybe he's still not fully recovered from the injury and they don't want to rush him back"... But who knows?

Wasn't the whole thing about making Dennis Allen the DC to simplify the scheme and get rid of communication issues? Shouldn't that have benefited Anthony if he was overwhelmed by Rob Ryan's strange scheme?

Imagine having super-athletic LB's like Robertson and Anthony on the field together.

Right. I just don't get Anthony not being out there at all, just saw Laurinitis, Robertson and Mauti. Was Anthony even active, did he even play special teams?

Yeah, I have a hard time believing he isn't one of our best LB's. Why you would move a guy like that to a position that rarely sniffs the field due to playing in the nickel D so much doesn't make much sense to me. He's only in his second year, he needs to be on the field getting experience. They're gonna screw up his development if they don't find ways to get him involved.
