Ok its far too early to start thinking of draft position. Honestly id rather go 3-13 than 7-9. I know its madness to say you want to loose 4 games and obviously i dont want to loose games but 3-13 goves you a top 3 three pick and we need either a true game changer or a big bargaining chip. You can flip a top three pick for s pair of mid round 1st.

Dont get me wrong id much rather turn this season around and go 11-5.

Question is if you get a top 3-5 pick and get a chance to take a future franchise QB do you take it. Sit them behind Drew until that break clause in 2018,even though he may play longer. It would be a big question to be asked.

We won't be drafting 5th. Our defense is really so much better. We only allowed 70 yard rushing and last week would've held the Raiders to 92 without the 75 yard run. Its our pass defense and I place that solely on injuries.

True but the injuries will be there for a good few weeks yet. Who know when Breaux is back 100%

Id like to the see the defense but up a show a few week on the bounce before i proclaim it fixed.

In all fairness, I get your reasoning.

Whilst it would be awful to go 3-13, it automatically makes something happen. It could force us to clean house and we also get a great player.

7-9, we miss the playoffs and get a player in the mid to late teens.

Plus last season when we beat the falcons for our 7th win in the final week, Payton ran onto the field like we'd won the superbowl, it was completely embarrassing.

DB40 and Rankins coming back mid season will be big, but it won't matter if we are 0-8.
We need to be at least 4-4 when they come back to have a realistic shot at the playoffs.
