How the Giants stopped the Saints Offense

Lots of two safety formations limited the Saints from making big plays. The Giants front 7 either rushed Brees or forced him to dump off to a safety valve or runningback. Rabalais had a nice article in the Advocate.

The Giants game plan was simple leave Fleener,Cadet and Coleman open and triple cover Cooks,Thomas and Snead

The Giants' D is very good.
I think they will win their Div this season. That may not be saying much but they are a good team. |

Re: How the Giants stopped the Saints Offense
I would be more likely to buy that if that would have been game 5 or 6 and we had already had a track record of being one of the top in the league. This being only the second game paired with the way our offense played in preseason kind of makes me doubt that article.
