If SP wants Brissett now the price just went up big time.
Amazing though that the Pats are sitting on 3 good QB's.

The results won't be the same if we had him, Belichek is ten times the coach that Payton is.

Well, hiring BB isn't an option.
What is your solution?
Yeah, you just want to be miserable.
This is tiresome.
I really believe that some members love misery.
What would make you happy?
BB becomes the Saints Head Coach and wins a Superbowl?
Nope.
Y'all would ***** about Tom Benson not hiring him 20 years ago.
"We could've been great instead of the Pats."
Enjoy your misery.

Personally, I'm going to enjoy watching Drew Brees till he retires. I hope this team improves and wins some games. I think we will. But, in anycase, I will always be a fan. Who Dat! :bng:

Had a tough morning have we? There was no misery in my post, just facts, the fact that the patriots are 3-0 is entirely because of BB, Sean Payton is nowhere near his level.

He has a LONG way to go before becoming a NFL starting QB. If he ever will. I personally have my doubts. Heck, Tebow did WAY more in his short time in the NFL and where's he at today? After Brees retires, draft a rookie and throw him out there.

Re: Saints were interested in drafting Jacoby Brissett

The Patriots won the other night, but Brissett hardly lit the world on fire. Not that anyone expected him to, but there just wasn't anything there to tell me he's someone we should covet. It speaks more to how they build their team and coach them to be smart with their assignments. Anybody can just throw a bunch of athletes out there.

As much as I don't like the Pats, they actually know how to adjust to their strengths and maximize what they do have, instead of crumbling under adversity like most teams.

We have had way too many holes on defense and offensive line to throw that pick away...

Brissett didnt do sh@t and is not a legendary QB of the future, but NE makes him look that way because they have a good coach, depth, players prepared to play, and players that want to play football, motivated.
We lack all those things.
Alot of ppl will soon realize its not SP that won the SB when hes gone. Its Brees that won SP a SB when Brees is gone.
I would hate to trade Brees but he desurves another SB with a team thats competent, and we have just held him back.

First of all, Brees demanded a no trade clause in his contract because he doesn't want to play anywhere else. Secondly, has it occurred to you that Brees already has a SB ring and is a slam dunk first round hall of famer and may not want to go chasing after a SB, but would rather win another in New Orleans?

Ahhhhh! Yet another "Coulda, Woulda, Sloulda" I like to read these while I compile my "What to do with the Lottery Winnings and will I be hurting the day after" list! How does that saying go again? Something like "You may have won the lottery but you'll be feeling it(filthy rich) tomorrow!"

That was before Drew signed his extension. We have another two or three years before Drew needs to tutor a young QB. Put that draft pick on the O-line.
