Yeah, but there's a big difference between a hospital full of starters and tanking the season. I don't believe any NFL team could have enough guys with no pride to tank a season, especially starting in the third week.

And they didn't give up. They won most of their games down the stretch. Putting player on IR isn't tanking. It is just the opposite. A healthy player, regardless of talent, is better than an injured player any day.
