Some days I feel like it's karmic destiny for us Saints fans, or something cosmic like that. In the '80s we had a defense to die for, and an offense that could barely score field goals. Now in the Payton era we have all the offensive fireworks you could ever dream of, and absolutely no defense on the other end of the field at all.

Just need to get back to a tough mentality. This is a very soft team and has been for years now. I don't think Payton has the guts to do what is needed.

With all of the coaching changes we think we have had... The same assistant coaches are here doing the same awful job, now we have one of them as DC.

Coach Vic Fangio now in Chicago same problem building great Defenses
but suffers from a weak Offense. History repeats itself so it seems.
