The FOX announcers today
1st off fantastic win today. I have waited a long time to give it back to the cheatin Seahawks. It was a game I circled early.
On the contrary, this had to be one of the worst called games I have ever heard in all my years of watching football. The announcers were so against the Saints and so biased against us, it made it almost miserable to get into the game. Every time we did something good they blamed it on the Seahawks getting cheated and never really praising us. It just ruins the watching experience listening to these idiots spout off at the mouth. |
Re: The FOX announcers today
We may need a pair of these to remove their noses, lips, heads from the S'hawks collective arse...

Re: The FOX announcers today
Yes Jean, the Seahags balls were firmly placed in the mouths of these announcers. Charles Davis is the only respectable one of the bunch.

Re: The FOX announcers today
Yeah when we didn't get flagged, they kept repeating that has to be a flag and called in that Crack pot Pereira.

Re: The FOX announcers today
It was pretty annoying, though I must say that it's always worse when Darryl Johnston is in the booth. It's not just his seeming bias, but he also says a lot of things that make no sense. He'll be watching a replay and completely misinterpreting a rule.
There isn't much in the way of quality broadcasting anymore. |
Re: The FOX announcers today
I thought the same myself even made a comment to my wife, could the announcers be any more against the Saints? Ridiculous.

Re: The FOX announcers today
Most of the garbage was coming from Chris Spielman. Some of it was legit but he definitely has the hots for the seahawks jockstraps

Re: The FOX announcers today
Lol 44!!! Hots for the jockstrap is incredible. I might have to steal that 1 liner.
|
Re: The FOX announcers today
"Excuse me ma'am, I noticed we made eye contact for like.05 seconds. Do you have the hots for my jockstrap or something?"
|
Re: The FOX announcers today
I'm tired of Charles Davis announcing from madden 17... today just added to fire...
|
Re: The FOX announcers today
Believe me, as bad as Fox was biased for the S'hawks; well, you gotta watch the unedited rebroadcast of the Pats @ the Bills today...as once poster said "pure gold"

Re: The FOX announcers today
I think another reason for the ratings drop is having to listen to the announcers. If it isn't a bias during the game it's trying to make a soap opera out of the players and coaches. One of the good things about listening to Jim and Duece is they call it like they see it in a fair way. If we get mugged they call it. If we mug someone they say we got away with one or legit call by the refs.

Re: The FOX announcers today
Put the TV on and mute it listen to the radio for commentary.

Even if it's horribly out of sync, I'd rather listen to the radio 2 minutes ahead then listen to the joke reality tv stars they put up for these games. Geez. |
Re: The FOX announcers today
I'd love to be able to turn down the tv and turn up the radio, but I don't like having the play given away 10 seconds before I see it.
It would be swell if they would stop hiring so many new announcers all of the time. Nowadays, it seems like all players want to be "analysts" when they retire, and the networks just stick them in there. They all feel a need to have something to say, so they will harp on anything that gives them a chance to hear themselves talk. |
Re: The FOX announcers today
trun down the sound!!!
|
Re: The FOX announcers today
they did not make it half way thru the first before i had WWL on
|
Re: The FOX announcers today
I've been listening to the World Series on the radio instead of watching this year. That pretty much sums up how I feel about Fox sports broadcasters.
|
Re: The FOX announcers today
What the announcers should have said was "Well it looks like the refs are finally going to start flagging S'hawks for interference. It's about f'ing time." I think the ridiculous no-call against Atlanta (as much as I liked it) had a lot to do with how the refs called the game yesterday.
|
Re: The FOX announcers today
The refs are ruining the game with bad officiating and devastating questionable calls. The announcers are just as bad at causing the audience to tune out. There should be some kind of IQ test for these idiots. Don't they have to take a class or something to get press credentials? Don't they have producers who can reel them in a little?
Roger Godhell needs to do something to fix this problem with the refs...........oh wait, the refs are just following his orders. The announcers have no excuses for their poor judgement! :argue: |

It may be all my imagination, but the one sport where the announcers appear to be somewhat unbiased it baseball. Then again, the only thing subjective that they have to comment on is the strike zone and the electronic strike zone adds objectivity to that. |
