Agreed. This needs to be the game where we come out and make a statement, 21 point win would give the team some confidence and I wouldn't have to google search "how to stop a heart attack" every week.

Rams had a 37 year old CB that game. He went postal on our receivers. Never seen anything like it before so yes. We could get destroyed.

Starting Hightower though should set a good physical tone on them. Have to set the tone early.

Despite the struggles in the 49ers passing game, Kaepernick's mobility will be a major issue to deal with.

Easy for teams to get up for good teams and want to prove themselves, -us last week. The 49ers are at home and coming off of the bye. The good thing is we are not 6-2 coming in, we are 3-4. So for the 49ers this isn't like the world champs are coming in and they want to prove themselves. That said, they want a win. Best way to handle a team like this is put them down early. Get up by a lot early and they will show some quit. Let them hang around and never know what will happen.

Should be able to run the ball, this team has been terrible against it.

Those are not passing yards, they're the rushing yards the 49ers D has given up week 2 and on. Week 1 they won and only gave up 65. I hope we recognize we need A level every week to win and we put this team away early.
