New Orleans Saints 'a team I wouldn't want to play,' Bill Cowher says
The New Orleans Saints*have caught the attention of former NFL coach Bill Cowher, who identified them Sunday as "a team I wouldn't want to play" in the second half of the season.
"Don't discount them," he said during a CBS roundtable discussion on teams to watch in the second half of the season. Cowher identified the high-scoring offense and improving defense as primary reasons. "They have the No. 1 offense in football. Drew Brees right now looks healthy. The offense looks very, very potent. Their defense is starting to come together under (coordinator) Dennis Allen. And it's always been a tough place to play down in New Orleans. So I'm just saying under the radar right now, the New Orleans Saints would be a team I wouldn't want to play." New Orleans Saints 'a team I wouldn't want to play,' Bill Cowher says | NOLA.com |

We just beat the two worst teams in the league. Beat the Broncos and we may have something.

Didn't we just beat Seattle a week ago who has arguably one of the best run defenses (HT went over 100) in the league?
By the way, Denver ranks towards the bottom in run defense (29th to be exact). |

Panthers 3-5 Colts 4-5 Bengals 3-5 Buccaneers 3-4 Texans 5-3 Chargers 4-5 Their losses are against the chargers, falcons and raiders. They're 28th on offense and 4th on defense. This will be a good test for us, but we're playing at home. Keep Brees standing, win the turnover battle, and we win this. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |
