Great individual performances however this Saints team needs to find a way to win all phases of the game. We are below .500 again. 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 season at best.

Sorry but that isn't gonna get it done (post season).

What sucks is that we haven't been above .500 since January 2014. We're going on 3 years of losing football.

Which is why I was so confused when we gave Payton a 5 year extension...

Breaux certainly didn't have a great game, but it's not like he was absolutely terrible either. it's not like Thomas was catching 20 and 30 yard passes all game. Breaux had decent coverage on the short touchdown pass, but Thomas is one of the better wide receivers in the NFL. Breaux is just coming back from a broken bone in his leg, so he will get better. Still, I think Breaux performed better than others we could have had covering Thomas. The push for the Saints defensive line was awesome to see! Also that the D actually made some plays on the ball!
