Report: Vincent Jackson didn’t tear ACL, but won’t play again this*season
 

Sorry he is hurt but glad he won't play against!

When the Buccaneers placed wide receiver Vincent Jackson on injured reserve last month, there was word he suffered a torn ACL.

That injury would have ended his season, but Alex Marvez of the Sporting News reports that Jackson did not tear that ligament. That’s good news for Jackson, but the end result is expected to be the same for the Bucs as Marvez also reports that Jackson’s knee injury is bad enough to keep him from being the team’s designated returnee from injured reserve.
