I was gonna ask about the Vikes. I heard they might be interested. what\'s in it for us...draft picks? I still like the idea of getting a LB and a draft pick from Dallas. All things said, I would rather he went to an AFC team so he doesn\'t come back and haunt us like some old Saints players have. Think we could swing a trade for Surtain? Even if we don\'t need him, it looks like there is a lot of interest for him out there?

More often than not, our traded players end up being worse on other teams.

Joe Johnson, total bust with the Packers
Norman Hand, hasn\'t done ****.
Grady Jackson, about the same as he was here, just hyped by the media now.
Sammy Knight - he\'s no longer a probowler, now is he?
Ricky Williams - one very good year, one ok year, then he screws the Dolphins over.
Kyle Turley - One year, then nothing. Thanks for the 2nd round pick.
La\'Roi Glover....we finally come to one that really hurt. While he is not as good as he was, he is still one of the top 10 DT\'s in the league and is easily better than anyone we got at the position.
Willie Roaf....whoooops. We screwed up there, but it had more to do with the locker room than anything else.

So we have a pretty good track record in the Haslett era of letting players leave and not having it bite us on the ass.
