CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The New Orleans Saints are running out of time. They're running out of games. And they're running out of excuses as to why they can't fulfill their potential and regain their winning ways.

"It's unfortunate that you get back to .500 (at 4-4) and now we're digging ourselves another grave again that we have to fill back up," Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro said after the Saints' 23-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium on Thursday night.

The Saints have become the ne'er-do-well sibling in the family. You keep believing them when they tell you they are going to change. You keep giving them second chances. And they just keep letting you down.

At this point, how can anyone not have trust issues with the Saints?
