Updating ongoing reports, Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins have been discussing trade talks for the past few days with the New Orleans Saints to acquire S Tebucky Jones. Two NFL sources said the Saints hope to complete a deal as early as Sunday, March 13 or Monday, March 14. One source said the asking price for Jones is a second-day draft pick (rounds 4 - 7).

Updating earlier reports, Jean-Jacques Taylor, of the Dallas Morning News, reports the Dallas Cowboys are strongly pursuing New Orleans Saints DE Darren Howard and a source has indicated the defensive end's agent spoke with Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones Saturday, March 12. The Cowboys are expected to present a contract proposal to Howard's agent Sunday, March 13.

Glad to hear the Howard news again. I was talking to a few friends in Dallas and they said they keep hearing about the possible trade on the radio alot. I hope it happens. Friends also compared Ngyuen to Sam Mills and stated they did not want to lose him but needed Howard more.

The fact that we are on the verge of acquiring a draft pick fro Tebucky Jones is great news. Stcok up on draft picks boys. Let\'s make next month\'s draft count. The Howard deal to Dallas is the one though. We may be able to squeeze out a #1 for him now that Dallas may not be willing to part with Dat. Things seem to be looking up as of now. Now the FO has to make it count.

Unfortunately, Simmons has not played a full season the last 3 years. He better come cheap if we sign him.
