I was one that thought McMahon should go after Thursday's game but the more I think about it, it isn't him who tried to catch the ball near the sideline and fumble it out at the 1. It's not him kicking the FG's and XP's too low that are being blocked.
Punt coverage is pretty good and so is kick coverage for the most part. The problem is the players executing. Issues catching the punts and kicks which falls on the players and to some degree the injuries we have where we have to activate certain players on game day and not keeping consistency on ST. We've got guys we signed off of the street playing ST. It would just be nice to evaluate this entire team and coaching staff with at least 80% of your starters healthy. So with this said I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the progress of our young players for the next 6 weeks and who knows, we might make some noise to end the year.

Exactly, that's why you need a coach that will get their a$$ in line and make sure they're prepared to perform at a professional level. It's the players that make stupid mistakes. I agree. But when it becomes a pattern, that's when the finger can be pointed at coaching.

I think part of the problem is that he's a broody individual and it carries over to his special teams units(his attitude may even permeate the entire organization). He always looks moody and passionless unless he's hot under the collar and even then he wouldn't scare me. It's kind of like my grandpa shaking his finger at me and scolding me as a kid. I don't believe he knows how to motivate or coach. He has no fire! That is what we need! Fire!
