Re: Thank goodness
I was wondering about Cooks. It was like he vanished. Totally opened up the gut though. Maybe that is how to use him, just send him down range every single time and it leaves more one on one in the middle.

Re: Thank goodness
I believe the Rams played cover two for most of the day, which effectively negates deep plays if executed properly.
However because Cooks had moved the safety by going deep, Michael Thomas, Snead and the TE's were able to work the middle, not to mention that with 2 safeties deep it opened up the running game for Ingram and Hightower. |
Re: Thank goodness
as long as the left it all on the field and the coaching is not a huge issue. wins or losses matter but I can accept it.
I can accept half heart play or bone head coaching for long stretches, See my review of Rob. |

Re: Thank goodness
This game was fun to watch. Even our wide receivers were throwing touchdown passes! LOL. I want at least 3 of these every season.
Did you hear what Payton said about the trick play? He said that they had it in the playbook for 7 years, only everytime they would call it, Colston would go to the bathroom. Ha! Snead's a gambler. I love it! |
Re: Thank goodness
Expect it from Detroit this weekend. We know they pattern themselves after the Saints.
