Don Sheeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, reports there has been some speculation the Vikings could release SS Corey Chavous if he does not agree to restructure his contract.

This guy is one of the smartest players in football. I'd love to see him in New Orleans.He also knows about every player upcoming in each draft so maybe he could help the Saints pick better players in the future. :)

I watched him at Vandy and he was a gamer. A smart player who always seems to be around the ball. If the he isn\'t demanding big money he would be worth a look.

Definitely agreed with the no big money, bring him in. I would prefer him to Bellamy any day.
