yalls Mocks are great, but knowing our FO we will probably do this:
1. Marcus Spears- FO likes to take best player, unfortunatly
2. Ernest Shazor- Decent pick, but more pressing needs
3. Mark Bradley- Still no LB\'s or Corners
4. Jonathan Welsh- Finally a LB, but to late.

Sorry guys. After a promising start to the offseason, the saints mess up in the draft. They get some decent players, but players get little chance to contribut in year one.

well i dont think you pick someone a round early because it is a need. your better off with talent then need. you dont pick a second round guy in the first because that is your position of need. at the same time you cant go with the most talent with every pick because you have needs

oh really? If I did or didn\'t, that means nothing. We are talking about the most highly projected kicker to come out in a long time. A whole lot of people think he is a 2nd rounder, who could go in the EARLY 2nd. At the worst he falls to the Niners at the top of the 3rd.

Looks great to me.... which is exactly why it will NEVER happen. When was the last time the Saints drafted guys that you thought that they should draft?

In retrospect, not all of the moves were terrible. However, I\'d be pretty willing to bet that no one believed that the Saints would realistically draft a DE in the 1st last year.... or trade up for a DT two years ago.... or draft McAllister two years after drafting Rickey Williams. All of those, at the time, weren\'t what was commonly suggested as needs for the team. This year will be no different - that\'s my guess anyway.
