Is the 2015 draft a bust?

1. Peat - Decent depth player
1A. Anthony - no instincts, can't get on field
2. Kikaha - Injury prone
3. Grayson - FAIL
3A. Williams - Potential, but injury prone
5. Tull - FAIL
5A. Davison - Solid player
7. Swann - Injury prone
7A. Murphy- allergic to the football

It may be salvageable, Kikaha, Williams, and Swann should have an opportunity to try again next year. Peat looks like a keeper, I do not see Anthony, Grayson, Tull, or Murphy back with the team next year.

concussion bit with no previous history is a pass and a crying shame.

1. Peat - Decent depth player - high price for OG but at least he is starting - not surprised

1A. Anthony - no instincts, can't get on field - 43 convert that needs more time. i hope and pray. - not surprised

2. Kikaha - Injury prone - rolled the dice and came up snake eyes. - not surprised

3. Grayson - FAIL - not surprised

3A. Williams - Potential, but injury prone - still have hope. - players should have taken life time insurance in the CBA.

5. Tull - FAIL - solid gamble - hopeful but not surprised

5A. Davison - Solid player - took to a 43 like a pig in slop. That is and always was what he was meant to play in. 34 DE? say what?

7. Swann - Injury prone - Not a long history but a solid gamble from day one - players should have taken life time insurance in the CBA.

7A. Murphy- allergic to the football - He is what he is nothing more. He has all the moves you need. Has the vision. But he has an automatic 4 speed transmission when you need a 5 speed hurst slap stick to get the job done.

Re: Is the 2015 draft a bust?

Three years. More accurate assessment in three years...

However, switching this season to a 4-3 after drafting three (3) linebackers - Anthony, Kikaha, and Tull - is exactly the type of self-handicapping that really makes ya scratch yer head about Sean Payton...

Dennis Allen lacks creativity and imagination to change his scheme to fit what he had and that's why he failed in Oakland; but he proved if he could get the talent he wanted, he could make it work, even if it meant limiting this team's success for another year...

And I'll disagree with my friend about Davison - Tyeler would have been a great 3-4 Nose Tackle and just needed a season in the NFL to bulk and get stronger to match the competition...

Realistically, expect Anthony and Kikaha to be gone within a season unless we implement some type of 4-6 defense - unlikely as we're only one, maybe two front seven players away...

Peat can be our Left Tackle, now. And his only challenge will be to get tough enough, stay healthy and be an iron man on the left side...

P.J. Williams and Damian Swann will need health evaluated closely; Williams looks like the goods and was essentially kicked in the head by a horse; Swann's outlook doesn't look as promising...

Kinda have to wonder what's going on behind the scenes at Saints HQ that they can't get Murphy motivated to turn this thing around; he can be the ideal Sproles-type scat back this team needs when passing on third and short...;)

The swing and miss with Garrett Grayson when other players of need (Guard, Defensive End) were there in that third round just goes to show that the wrong talent evaluators are making the calls for the Saints...

But the real grade won't be till after next season when we'll have a cornucopia of cornerbacks, already under contract, competing to be the top five-six going into the 2017 season...

Davison is the best player we drafted that year. We got great value with him. Peat is still a question mark to me.....but he seems to be getting his feet under him playing on the left side again. Our concussion kids will be reevaluated next year and will hopefully be ready to take the field and make a contribution.

Davison has performed better than his draft status IMO & sent John Jenkins packing.

I could see Jenkins replaced. Pushing the pocket is a must but our DE's need to contain alot better than they do also.
