Might make the trip...
Just hoping it's not a home game for us.

If we play in London in week 3 or 4 then unfortunately that will probably mean another early bye week.

The London game is a road game for the Saints, they are playing the Dolphins.

Saints play in london the teams should have their bye week the next week. it is only fair.

Then again i still hate Thursday night football also.

roger is greedy.

the players are cry baby millionaires

Roger is the worse thing to ever happen to the NFL.

At least we don't lose a home game...wish it was week 7 and then followed with a bye week...

Wanna lay odds the NFL has got us playing on the West Coast the following week?!?

Re: London 2017

What I'd like to know is why haven't the Ravens, Packers, Eagles, Panthers, Seahawks, Browns, Texans, Titans, nor Cardinals have had to play in London?!?

Cry baby millionaires.... I doubt that. I was talking to my buddy the other day. I cannot imagine what these players go through to stay healthy all year. I play in a hardball baseball league and play about 2 games a week during the season. I don't know how they do it. Even with everything they get in terms of rehabilitation, is nuts. I'm sore as hell after a game for 3+ days if I'm pitching. Now flying to other countries for games while nursing injuries... They live by their means, who wouldn't. Whether its the turf that gets ya, or the LB, it's always something, big or small.

I get what your saying and agree that they work year around just like everyone else in the world. So no sympathies or amazement from my corner.

What ticks me off is when players getting paid what they get paid complain about the dangers they face and they deserve this kind of money

Accept the dangers of working in your profession just like everyone else and stop crying about justification.

If they got payed based on the dangers faced compared to all other professions they would get about 100k a year and that is being generous.

The icing on the cake for me was the NFL players voting down life time insurance for the cash up front. Leaving players like Swann hanging out on there own for the most part. They also stiffed the retired players in this vote.

Thus a bunch of greedy cry babies in my book.

Roger is a capitalist in its purest form and the owners just love it. I can not blame him for it but his greed is getting to the point he destroying the game.

London = GREED!!! More money for the owners! Don't forget they want to expand games in Mexico too.

Yep! I'll be there! That's assuming I can get a ticket. They sell out so fast, especially when the Dolphins are over here!

Yet another reason the NFL ratings are plummeting.

Agree. The NFL brand is taking a hit. To much gimmick, not enough of what made the game great.

Team personalities are much much better than player personalities.

I barely get to see the Saints play in a stadium in the US.

I'll save the money and watch it on TV.

Re: London 2017

I do sympathise with you guys in the US who are losing games to watch because they are being played in the UK, but while they are still being played over here we are going to go, because as easy as it was to arrange these games for us to see, knowing how the NFL works they could, for whatever reason, be taken away!

GEAUX SAINTS!

Rehab the NFL brand?

Start with getting rid of the color rush uniforms and blacklisting every stupid MFer that made that happen...

How many flatscreens are still trying to color adjust after that Seattle game, eh?

Well SaintFan after your hometown Foxes won the Premier League last
season anything is possible. But I think the two countries are trying to
promote their sports as a common promotion. The problem there is you
guys don't play a lot of American style Football in England. However
Soccer (Football) has really penetrated its popularity in the US.

that is really not a huge issue to me as long as the teams schedule is arranged correctly.

Thursday night games are a bigger issue in my book.

enjoy the game

And thus another week 5 bye. I'd prefer a later one but it is what it is.
