Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
We are damaged goods but that is not Payton's fault.......loyalty to under performing players and coaches doesn't help though.

Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Thomas is a no.1 wide out and the best person that could of beat Colston's record
|
Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Ingram's gonna absolutely lose it if they don't let him run the ball and get these 16.

Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Half of to do list done..dont look like i missed much..good job on a 1000 yrd season Ingram. And congrats to our rookie WR. At least something came out of this nightmare.

And a TD to finish off the day for Ingram.

Michael Thomas is a really good WR. Mechanics, routes, off the line separation etc. He doesn't play like a rookie ...at all. His future is very, very bright.

Fix the O-line and we'll throw up 50 burgers every week.

Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Our draft needs to be focused on the D again. But between the draft and free agency, we should be able to fill the deficiencies we currently have. I think we will be a lot closer to competing then we realistically were this year.

Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Fleener route running is pure garbage.
|
Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Can we sucker someone into a trade for him?
|
Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Saints officially own pick #11 in the draft!

We got Rankins later than that. Maybe.........just maybe.......

Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Well, after the first half fiasco the Saints actually played a good second half and kept the score a lot closer than I thought it was going to be.
If fact there were a couple of occasions when the camera cut to Ryan on the sideline and you could tell by his facial expression that he was thinking "oh my god we could actually lose this game"! ha! ha! GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!! |
Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Nothing has changed on the D side. Pi$$ poor game plan going into the game and then in the 2nd half Allen pulls his head out of his a$$. He gives the illusion he's good but it is just an illusion. I hope this was his last game as DC and the 'good ole boys' entire staff. 7-9 again!!

“They knew kind of something we were in,” safety Jairus Byrd said. “(Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan) knew where to go with the ball right away. There was some quick decisions that he was making.” “They knew what we were going to do at times,” cornerback Sterling Moore said. “They were calling out some of our plays. Regardless of that, I told guys beat the guy in front of you. I don’t care if they know what we’re in or not. Just beat the guy in front of you.” |
Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
The falcons are doing to us what we used to do to past top 20 defenses. There really is no defense for that without a QB/offense that can respond. Then the defense will get better. Too many times the defense has to always do something before the offense and it's not right.

Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Watching Jared Cook. Unlike Fleener that guy can easily create separation. Fleener is always with defender stuck on him. Awful FA signing.

4-5 play makers on each side of the ball, then role players to fill in the gaps. 60 or so plays on each side of the ball... where players only have to be good on the 5-10 plays that come there way. We don't have enough "play makers"... guys that fall on a fumble and hold it... touch an INT and actually catch it... grab a guy on 3rd-and-8 and actually make the tackle... get open on 3rd down and actually hold on to the ball... We have a bunch of almost(s). Hard to win consistently like that. |

It's not like the Falcons would cheat or anything...
Atlanta is just not that smart, we don't spank 'em this many years in a row and they figure it out like they did... I smell smoke |
Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
Oh, that's their f*cking arses next season...Sean better make this right...
