Versatile cornerback Sterling Moore has 'full intentions' on returning to Saints

"I see myself being here, I mean, I really do," said Moore, who previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots. "I tell the coaches that I see myself being here.*

"I see myself growing with these guys and just doing something special, so I don't look at myself necessarily as a free agent even though my contract is coming to an end. I have full intentions on coming back."*

I think he will be back til they cut to 53, too much depth will cause him not to make the final roster

Delvin Breaux
PJ Williams
Devante Harris
Damian Swann
Ken Crawley
*Kyle Wilson
*Sterling Moore

*most likely will be competing against draft pick(s)

I'm not too high on Crawley. Its hard to evaluate our corners due to lack of a pass rush but I thought Moore played well most of the time. Crawley seemed to get burned a lot though he is very young.

Kyle Wilson is the odd man out.

Crawley was probably not even planned to see the field much other than on special teams. Under the circumstances I think he performed about as well as expected. I hope he can grow from this year, as you said, he is very young.

Sterling has a lot of potential. He's a hard hitter and not afraid to go after the ball. He just needs to work more on being more consistent w his positioning in zone coverage. I especially liked his INT against Cam in the endzone this year.

Don't forget Jimmy Pruitt.

Swann is a player on the bubble for me.

Swann could be really good. Or at least solid. The guy just gets his head knocked around all the time.

I'm feeling good about our starting corners but can they stay on the field? Or their backups for that matter? I'm not a fan of Crawley's play but he's young. Moore just seems out of place to me.....of course he's young too. Wilson has the edge on those two and possibly Swann if he can't get healthy. Health is the key issue but the talent is there I believe.
