Pretty much. The Saints really need to focus on the defense this off season. The dirty birds skill positions are the real deal... specifically RB. Take away their deep threat, they can still exploit you underneath. Take away the pass all together, they can run it down your throat.

I can't stand Atlanta but they are legit on offense this year.

You have to be envious of Atlanta's versatility on offense. It seems like Kyle Shanahan's goal was to be able to do everything well - short passing game, deep ball, pistol read, bootleg, power run, zone run, you name it. They are the least predictable team in the NFL along with the Pats.

The last thing that any of us want to see is Atlanta advancing. Have to say
the Birds Offense is clicking and I see a lot of individual second effort. I
think they could have a bad time with Rodgers if they don't pressure him.
To me Rodgers is like a Cat with a whole bunch of lives, his ability to make
plays in the clutches is uncanny. Green Bay's Defense isn't what it used to be.
If they go against the Cow's it probably will be a shoot out, the team
that blinks will end up cleaning out their lockers.

Cant deny how talented ATL is this year. I'm just hoping that I can count on Shatty Ice having a meltdown next week.

As much as I hate to admit it . . Atlanta did a better impersonation of the Saints then the Saints have in recent years. picking teams apart with a balance of runs and passes . . defense on their heels . . throwing to 10 or more receivers . . dictating how the defense played and making key stops when needed . . I was actually waiting for Matt Ryan to go classic playoff Matt Ryan and CHOKE in the second half . . but that BASTARD looked like a hall of famer out there . . lol . . IM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW . . . . WHO DATT . .

there is only one team that wins the SB so the odds that a team will not accomplish that is pretty good. That said the Falcons have made it to the final 4 teams, and although they may lose next week this has been a pretty successful season for them. They beat us up twice, they got the second seed, and they just destroyed one of the better teams in the NFC. I don't know how they could have done much better.

There were a lot of predictions on here about how they would collapse this season because that is "what they do" and it didn't happen. There were several board members that said they had talent and were going to be a force this season.

Will they win next week, no idea. Will they win the SB, no idea. But they're young, and I'd much rather be heading to the NFC championship this week vs a third straight 7-9 season.

Falcons are still playing? My season ended Week 17 and everyone that is still playing especially Atlanta can go blow an ACL .

Yeah okay dude. They're in the SB, there's literally nothing bad that can be said about that. Even if they lose they still made it, and if the Saints were there and lost you wouldn't be saying we choked, you'd be talking about how good a season we had, how we had something to build off etc etc. If someone on this board made a comment about how we choked you'd be hammering them. Matter of fact we were 7-9 for the 3rd straight season and you and your boy are over here celebrating like we are in the SB

I am not a fan of the Falcons but they beat the hell out of two good teams and are in the SB. That's a good season and I wish we were there.

I don't drink, at all, but thanks for asking. As anyone can see with you and your boy and your gleeful poop shinning when we go 7-9 and then talking about a team choking that just made the SB. I could care less if they win or lose, but I am not going to do what their fan base does and talk **** when it is obvious they're a really good team this year and had a very good season regardless of the result in 2 weeks.

Amazing and in all honesty it is a tad pathetic, but keep on keeping on, we know you will.

Never thought a thread started as Seahawk Shank would still be going.
But it is the off-season for us and were all watching other teams move on.

I certainly do, but when they make the SB and do it in impressive fashion I give the credit deserved. The thing is they can't choke next week because they're the underdog.
